Hardie Plank Starter Ventilation Strips are manufactured from high quality aluminium with an effective ventilation profile. These strips are essential to installing your Hardie Plank Cladding correctly, whilst ensuring it looks attractive. They provide sufficient kick out (lap spacing) for the first row of planks (horizontal overlap only).
Without Starter Strips, the kick out on the wall would appear inconsistent in the second, third and fourth courses!
In addition to our Hardie Plank Starter Ventilation Strip, a Top strip is also available.
