Hardwood
The lumber for Hardwood has a denser formation which makes it harder than softwoods and different species lend themselves to a variety of uses.
Hardwoods are deciduous, they reproduce flowers with broad leaves and often grow much slower with the occurrence of pores or vessels.
The characteristics of their growth, like density, grain, pore size, fibre pattern and flexibility, reduces the tendency to split and gives hardwood a variety of applications for construction, internal or external joinery, furniture, boat building, flooring, and other projects.
Hardwoods are generally kiln dried for durability, performance and appearance so they can be shaped into a variety of objects such as musical instruments, tools, chairs, and other furniture.
