A lighter alternative than most boards and a practical replacement for timber.
This flexible MDF (Medium-Density Fibre) Board follows the contours of any surface when installed and is free of natural defects and smooth sanded for a precision finish. It is manufactured from a mixture of wood fibres, waves, and resins then hot pressing to different thicknesses.
Our MDF Board is isotropic, meaning that there is less of a tendency to split without any grain, and not only that but screws and fasteners are held much better, as well as generally being denser than plywood.
The flat and smooth surface of each sheet can be double-sided and finished with oil or water-based paints. MDF Board is ideal for applications where weight is a consideration or design factor for common uses include joinery, wardrobes, panelling, architectural mouldings and home projects.
