A variety of different timber related items were sourced to help create a new building for the Captain Tom Moore Foundation.
Elite Timber Supplies worked with the foundation, a local charity/cause for a world without ageism, in order to find the best possible solution by looking at various options from Timber frame to traditional build.
Both agreed that a traditional build option would be best suited for the new foundation building.
Doing our part for the charity
For the initial part of the works, we partnered with a local truss manufacture to supply the roof structure and a local building company to organise the trusses to be fitted.
The next part of the project was the internal element, that focused on 1st fix to include stud work along with plasterboard which then brought the building up to 2nd fix stage.
For the final stage, Elite Timber Supplies provide exterior cladding for the building with a brown softwood rebated featheredge boarding.
